Let’s be honest; we could all spend hours scrolling and pinning to our heart’s content. There’s just so much good stuff on there, and I never want to forget a single recipe. This list was a tough one to put together, purely because I have hundreds of pinned recipes waiting to be made. But I think I’ve managed to narrow it down to 30 of the best! Let’s get to it!
1. 3-Ingredient Oreo Balls
Some of my favorite Pinterest recipes are shortcuts. They’re just as tasty but take half of the time. Who can argue with that? Being a big lover of cake truffles, I just had to try these, and I was so happy with how they came out. Instead of being moist and dense like a cake ball, they’re soft with just a bit of a crunch. It’s exactly what you’ll want with the creamy cheesecake-like filling.
2. Cheeseburger Meatloaf
For those of you that steer clear of meatloaf because you think it’s dry or tasteless, this is the recipe for you. The meatloaf itself is full of flavor from Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and bacon. It then gets taken up a notch with chunks of cheddar cheese mixed through to create cheesy pockets that ooze out as you cut in.
3. Double Chocolate Banana Bread
Because chocolate banana bread isn’t sinful enough! I’m a huge advocate for adding chocolate chips to banana bread, but I was hesitant to add cocoa powder. I feared that the chocolate would overpower the banana. It didn’t! You’ll get such a fantastic combination of rich chocolate with sweet bananas, and it’s totally perfect. Just be sure you have super ripe bananas.
4. No-Bake Cookies
Like I said before, shortcuts are too good not to try. No-bake recipes are often just as delicious, and you won’t have to worry about the electric bill. Win-win! This recipe gives you such a lovely, chewy cookie packed with peanut butter and chocolate flavor. I also like to throw in some corn flakes for added crunch.
5. The BEST Rocky Road
Rocky road is such a simple mix of chocolate and marshmallow, and in some cases, you might find nuts and cherries in the mix, too. Though I’m a fan of the colorful marshmallows, you can’t beat the look of that fluffy white marshmallow with the dark chocolate. If you like the extras, feel free to scatter them over the top while the chocolate is still wet.
6. Blueberry Cheesecake Crumb Cake
I’ve made this recipe dozens of times, and I fall deeper in love with each bite. Being a massive cheesecake lover and a serious blueberry addict, this is the perfect recipe for me. The crumb cake topping is just the cherry on top here, giving the cheesecake some wonderful texture. Depending on how sweet or tart your fruit is, you may or may not need the glaze. I say the sweeter, the better!
7. Paula Deen’s Crockpot Potato Soup
I turn to Queen Paula for a lot of recipes. She knows her stuff, and I’ve never been disappointed. This soup is no different. Thick, creamy, and loaded with potato, chicken, and cream cheese, this soup is a bowl of comfort that needs just 10 minutes of your time.
8. Crockpot Grape Jelly & Bbq Meatballs
Sweet and salty will always be a winner for me, and these meatballs give you just the right amount of each. By cooking the meatballs in the sauce, you’ll maximize the flavor, and you’ll get a perfect glaze, to boot!
9. Mexican Street Tacos
Is there anything better than tacos? We all love ’em. Skirt steak is a must for the carne asada. Be sure to follow the marinade instructions exactly. I promise it’s worth it. I like to top mine with some pickled chilis and red onion and a little touch of cotija or charred corn.
10. Slow Cooker Cream Cheese Crack Chicken Chili
A mouthful, I know, but you need the full title to get a good sense of what to expect here. This isn’t just a chicken chili, and it will be the best you’ve ever tried. It’s gets the name from its take on crack chicken, which is made with cream cheese and Ranch seasoning. All that fantastic flavor is then mixed with some corn, beans, tomatoes, and chilies to create a warm bowl of irresistible chicken chili.
11. Philly Cheese Steak Sloppy Joes
Sloppy joes are typically made with ground beef and a tomato-based sauce. This twist on the classic uses the same ground beef with a very different flavor profile. The sauce is a heavenly mix of ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper, and a beef broth and cornstarch slurry. Once you have this thickened, add in your cheese and pour it right over the hearty beef.
12. Baked Million Dollar Spaghetti
As much as I enjoy spaghetti in its simplicity, this spaghetti bake is just to die for. I love the layering here. It’s just like a lasagna, but the noodles give it a much lighter feel in the end. You can also make a chicken alfredo version the same way.
13. Easy Slow Cooker Taco Pasta
A slow cooker pasta dish that tastes like tacos? This might just be the perfect dinner. The best thing about a slow cooker meal is that it tends to have very minimal prep. You’ll usually just have to chop some veg and open a few cans and then let the Crockpot do its thing. For this recipe, you’ll chop some peppers and open a can each of crushed tomatoes and corn. You’ll get that fabulous taco taste from the salsa and the taco seasoning. If you’d rather have chicken, try adding some chicken breast into the mix and leaving it to cook. After a few hours, it will have soaked up all that amazing flavor and be fork tender.
14. Sheet Pan Chicken Fajitas
One pan, one meal, less mess. How does it get any better? The beauty of this is that everything will cook on one tray, and you’ll mix it all up in the end anyway, so you don’t have to worry about keeping anything separate. The chicken and veggies only need around 10-15 minutes to cook, and you can serve your fajitas right from the hot pan.
15. The Best Swedish Meatballs
Unlike our meatballs that are usually served with a marinara sauce, Swedish meatballs typically come in a cream-based sauce, and often with a lingonberry jam. Another difference in Swedish meatballs is the spices you’ll see on the ingredient list. Parsley and garlic might not seem odd, but they also use allspice and nutmeg. The key to getting your meatballs perfectly cooked is to sear the outside until golden brown and then remove them from the heat to make the sauce. Once it has thickened, add the meatballs back into the pan to finish cooking inside the sauce.
16. Slow Cooker Chili
At the first sign of the cold, I rush to get my slow cooker out and throw on a big batch of chili. It’s not long before the house smells amazing, and I have a big bowl with a chunk of crusty bread. This recipe keeps it simple, with beef, onion, tomatoes, beans, and a touch of cocoa to enhance the other spices. But you can easily bulk it out even more with some potatoes, corn, or butternut squash.
17. Orange Chicken
You’ll kick yourself when you see just how easy this classic takeout favorite is to make at home. I know, it’s a treat to order in, but once you’ve tried this lightened-up version, you’ll need to find a new Friday night go-to dinner. The trick with this kind of dish is to make a quick batter that you will fry the chicken in. Once it’s golden and crisp, you can add your glaze, which will become hot and sticky as you toss the chicken.
18. Creamy Chicken Pasta
I don’t think pasta will ever go out of style, and I like to have a few good recipes in my back pocket for a rainy day. Sure, a spicy marinara is delicious, but there’s something special about a creamy sauce with chicken. With over one million Pinterest shares, you know this one has to be sensational. This sauce does actually include tomatoes, but they’re not the star of the show. That honor goes to the white wine and Parmesan cheese. I like to use cherry tomatoes for a sweeter finish and be sure you get the real deal Parmesan, not the stuff that looks like bread crumbs.
19. Creamy Mozzarella Shrimp Pasta
This dish comes together pretty fast, so I would recommend having everything ready to go before you start. Begin with the pasta and get it cooking while you make the other components. For the shrimp, remember that they only need a couple of minutes in the pan. As soon as they turn pink, get them off the heat, so they don’t go rubbery. Once your sauce is mixed and hot, you can toss in the pasta and shrimp and serve right away.
20. One-Pan Bacon Ranch Garlic Parmesan Pasta
Yes, I’m one of those people who puts ranch on pretty much everything. When I was living in Europe, it was something I genuinely craved! I love that this recipe cooks the spaghetti right in the pan, so all that fantastic flavor can’t escape. If you like your pasta a little creamier, swap out the sour cream for cream cheese.
21. Bang Bang Shrimp Recipe
You’ve probably had some version of this dish before, and each is as good as the last. The elements include crispy fried shrimp and a wonderfully creamy, spicy, garlicky sauce. Rather than an egg mixture, this recipe calls for a milk and sour cream mixture that’s thicker and will provide some great tangy to the shrimp. Once dredged in the flour, fry until golden and serve with the secret sauce. Mix mayonnaise, chili sauce, minced garlic, and sriracha in a bowl, and be prepared to want it on everything.
22. Best Chocolate Cake
Chocolate cake can keep you up at night. You know, when it’s sitting on the counter, calling your name. If you’re making a chocolate cake, it had better be the best. That means buttermilk and coffee in the batter, every time.
23. Best Chocolate Chip Cookies
Chocolate chip cookies are the perfect food. It doesn’t matter if they come soft, warm, cold, crisp, or in a skillet. They always taste great. But for me, the absolute perfect chocolate chip cookie is thick, tender, chewy, and sprinkled with sea salt. This recipe ticks every box, not to mention, they’re huge!
24. Sugar Cookies
Sugar cookies are my favorite to decorate. The mild, sweet flavor makes them the best canvas for some tasty glaze. I like to chill my dough before rolling and don’t over-work it. I usually roll a dough twice and then turn the rest into a crust or tart shell.
25. Cinnamon Cream Cheese Cookies
I made a big batch of these over the holidays – as in, over a hundred cookies – and we ran out. People just couldn’t get enough of the warm, lightly spiced, tender cookie. The cream cheese will add so much richness to the dough, and will keep them super moist after baking.
26. Slutty Brownies
This naughty little recipe is definitely one for the weekend. Or you can even make them on Wednesday. You deserve a treat! I’ve made these so many times, and I always come back to this recipe. What could possibly top cookie dough, and Oreos, and brownies?!
27. Cookies and Cream Brownies
Brownies are one of those desserts that you just can’t ruin. Add cheesecake, peanut butter, fruit, pretzels, even cayenne pepper, and you’ll still have of the best sweet treats of all time. Cookies and cream is yet another classic that will always be a family fave. So, why not combine the two? Just be ready to have more than one… or two.
28. Worlds Best Fudgiest Brownies
Ok, just one more! I know, I’m obsessed! But like I said, brownies are just to die for. And this recipe takes the cake, the trophy, and the first place podium. I mean, did you see those pictures?! I’m already halfway to the kitchen to whip up a batch.
29. The Best Coffee Cake Recipe Ever
Coffee cake is such a fantastic little mid-morning snack, and this recipe has to be the king of them all. The cake is so tender; you won’t need frosting, even with the crumbly topping. However, the sweet glaze does enhance the spicy cinnamon perfectly.
30. Easy Iced Coffee
Have you been conditioned to think you need an iced coffee every time you leave the house? I’m right there with ya; come rain or shine. But since the pandemic, I’ve been trying the whole DIY thing, and the first thing I really missed was my weekly trip to Starbucks. For this recipe, you’ll need to prepare your cold brew in advance, letting it sit overnight if you can. But it’s the homemade creamer that I really fell for! Click on a star to rate it!
