These are a fantastic addition to any event, or simply to enjoy on a beautiful, sunny summer day! Spritz cocktails are one of my favorite kinds of drinks. They’re light, refreshing, bubbly, and very flavorful. They can range from sweet to slightly savory, but they’re always delicious. Generally, a spritz is a wine-based cocktail that features bitter and sparkling elements. But from there, it’s a very versatile drink. And boy, there are some creative recipes out there! Most of the drinks on this list are alcoholic, however, there are a few mocktails included. And it’s pretty easy to turn any spritzer into a mocktail! So, if you’re ready to step up your cocktail game, try a spritzer. Here are 25 of my favorite spritz cocktail recipes.
1. Classic Aperol Spritz
The Aperol spritz is the OG (original) spritz drink. Like many delicious things, the Aperol spritz hails from Italy. These bright orange drinks are light and refreshing, perfect for summer. This fizzy drink features a combination of Aperol, Prosecco, and club soda. It has notes of orange, herbs, and vanilla. It’s not too sweet, with a slight bitterness and lots of citrus flavors. Garnish with fresh orange slices and enjoy!
2. St Germain Spritz
This St Germain spritz is light, floral, fruity, and totally tantalizing. Like the Aperol spritz, it features Prosecco and club soda. However, the St Germain version is a little sweeter. You’ll taste pear, citrus, elderflower, and passionfruit. For me, it’s perfect!
3. Cassis Spritz
Cassis is the French name for black currant and let me tell ya, it’s delicious. If you’ve never had black currant, it tastes a little like raspberries, blackberries, and gooseberries. It’s berry-licious, but uniquely its own flavor! And this spritz fully embodies the full flavors of black currants. A little white wine and sparkling water complement it beautifully. It’s light, tart, and refreshingly sweet.
4. Winter Aperol Spritz
If you love the classic Aperol spritz, I know you’ll love this wintry version. The secret to this tasty spritz is the addition of Sloe Gin. Sloe gin is made from bitter plums and tastes a little like raisins. It’s quite yummy and pairs beautifully with the orange, vanilla, and herb flavors of Aperol. It’s garnished with rosemary, orange, and raspberries, which add even more freshness.
5. Blackberry Thyme Spritzer
This non-alcoholic spritzer is super fresh and super fruity! I find that herbs and fruit work so well together in drinks (and food). Blackberry and thyme are no exception. The blackberries are sweet and slightly tart. The thyme is earthy, with a hint of lemon. Together, with a sweetener and bubbly water, it’s even better! This drink is refreshing, delicious, and perfect for a summer get-together. If you prefer an alcoholic beverage, simply add your favorite liqueur! I recommend peach Schnapps.
6. Jalapeño Ginger Lime Spritzer
This jalapeño, ginger, and lime spritzer is fresh, spicy, and super bold. I know you’ll love it! This drink features a simple syrup made with jalapeño, agave nectar, and limes. It’s topped off with sweet and spicy ginger beer and sparkling water. Garnish with fresh jalapeños and lime. This drink is friendly for everyone as it’s non-alcoholic. However, tequila would be a fabulous addition if you want an adults-only beverage.
7. White Wine Spritzer
You can’t go wrong with a classic, and that’s exactly how I’d describe this drink. It’s light and refreshing, perfect for any occasion. It’s also seriously easy to make! Simply take your favorite white wine and mix it with club soda. Serve it over ice and add a lemon slice for oomph. Enjoy!
8. Vodka Spritzer
Party poopers beware because this drink is a party-pleaser. It’s sweet, fruity, and fantastically boozy. But a word of caution, this drink may taste like punch, but it packs one, too!
9. Rainbow Fruit Spritzer Mocktail
Taste the rainbow with this tasty fruit spritzer. It’s delicious, loaded with fruit, and super beautiful. This drink features fruit to embody every color of the rainbow and Sprite. Simply pick your favorite fruit that represents each color. Honestly, it has so much fruit, it could almost be considered healthy. Well, except for the Sprite, of course. If you do want a healthier version, use honey and sparkling water. If you want an alcoholic version, seltzer water like White Claw would be fantastic!
10. Strawberry Mint Spritzer
O-M-YUM, this strawberry mint spritzer will be your family’s new favorite treat. And yes, I said family. It’s non-alcoholic, kid-friendly, fizzy, fruity, and super delicious. It tastes like a strawberry mojito without the rum. Though, you could definitely add some rum!
11. Lemonade Spritzer
If life gives you lemons, make this lemonade spritzer. Seriously, it’s fantastic. And it’s super easy to make! Simply mix lemonade, white wine, and club soda together. Serve over ice and garnish with more lemon. It’s light and refreshing and bursting with citrus goodness. It’s even better if you use homemade lemonade made with freshly squeezed life lemons!
12. Mango Moscato Spritzer
Transport yourself to a tropical paradise with every sip of this delicious mango Moscato spritzer. If you love mango as much as I do, you’ll love this! Freshly pureed mango, your favorite Moscato, and soda water come together to create beverage heaven. Well, I think it’s beverage heaven, but regardless, it’s fantastic!
13. Blueberry Lavender Vodka Spritzer
Pretty in purple, this blueberry lavender vodka spritzer is as delicious as it is lovely. It’s also very refreshing, with hints of fruit and floral. The star of the show is the blueberry lavender simple syrup. It imparts both color and flavor! Top with a little lime juice, soda water, vodka, and fresh blueberries. It’s delicious!
14. Coconut Lime Spritzer Summer Mocktail
Put the lime in the coconut and spritz it on up. This simple drink is refreshing and tropical and insanely good. Oh, and it’s so easy to make. Simply gather lime juice, coconut syrup, and sparkling water. Add the syrup and lime juice to a glass, then top with water. Finally, enjoy your delicious beverage! Fresh lime juice works best, plus you can garnish your drink with lime slices. Torani and Sirop de Monin are great syrup brands with a coconut flavor.
15. Skinny Sangria Spritzer
This delicious skinny sangria spritzer (try saying that 10 times fast) is all about flavor. It’s bursting with berry goodness, and it has approximately half the calories of regular sangria! The secret is to use less juice and less alcohol. Don’t worry, it still has some of both. This recipe calls for your favorite red wine, plus a splash of orange and lemon juices. Frozen berries and berry-flavored sparkling water finish off the drink. It’s yummy, bubbly, and berry fresh.
16. Rose Wine Spritzer
Summer spritzers have never been so easy to make or enjoy. This delicious drink features your favorite rose wine and club soda. It’s light, simple, and wonderfully bubbly.
17. Earl Grey Ginger Spritzers
Now, this is what I call iced tea! It’s bougie, refreshing, and not nearly as dangerous as a Long Island Iced Tea. I think it’s just as tasty, though. This spritzer stars deliciously citrusy Earl Grey tea. The tea is combined with ginger beer, which complements the bergamot in the tea beautifully. The combination is fantastic! Finally, add in the cocktail liquor of your choice. I find that rum works very well.
18. Cucumber Lime Basil Prosecco Spritzer
You’ll feel like you’re at the spa with every sip of this delicious spritzer. It’s light and herb-flavored, with the perfect amount of Prosecco bubbles. Simply add cucumber, basil, and lime juice to a glass. Muddle the ingredients and let everything sit in the fridge to infuse. When you’re ready to drink, strain the juice into a champagne flute and top with Prosecco. It’s bright, tart, and delicious.
19. Lemon Blueberry Vodka Spritzer
Treat yourself to this fabulous lemon blueberry vodka spritzer. It features blueberry vodka, lemon sparkling water, and honey simple syrup. It’s light, fruity, and absolutely fantastic.
20. 4-Ingredient Citrus and Melon Spritzer
If you love anything melon, you’ll love this simple spritzer. It’s fun and fruity and perfect for any summer get-together. It’s also very customizable! This recipe uses honeydew for its delicious melon flavor. However, you can use whatever melons you like! You start with a juice made from muddled melons, lime, and sugar. Add that to a glass with melon ice cubes and top with sparkling water. If you want an adults-only version, simply add your favorite melon liqueur.
21. Orange Red Wine Spritzer
This is the perfect drink for a winter holiday party. It features red wine, orange juice, orange bitters, soda water, and a cinnamon simple syrup. It’s sweet and warm and totally tantalizing.
22. Peach Raspberry Spritzer

23. Ripe Pineapple Smash Wine Spritzer
This pineapple smash wine spritzer will smash your tastebuds, in a good way! It’s sweet, acidic, and very refreshing. You only need to gather a few simple ingredients to make this boldly flavored spritzer. You need fresh pineapple, white wine of your choice, sparkling water, and simple syrup. Muddle the pineapple in your glass, so all the juices are released. Add simple syrup, wine, and bubbly water. Garnish with fresh mint and enjoy! Flavored sparkling waters are a fantastic addition. Try coconut-flavored sparkling water for a piña colada-inspired spritzer. Mango sparkling water would also be delicious.
24. Tequila Spritzer with Grapefruit, Rosemary, and Pineapple
This sophisticated drink will take your tastebuds on a ride. It’s herb-flavored, sweet, and a little tart. The tequila might make you dance, too.
25. Berry Red Wine Spritzer
This ruby-red spritzer is perfect for a summer barbecue. It’s sweet and refreshing, and everyone will love it. Start with a sweet red wine of your choice. Top it with berry-flavored sparkling water like La Croix. And that’s it! Feel free to garnish with fresh berries and mint for a little extra something special. Either way, it’s delicious.
