Give yourself a break with these festive Christmas Crockpot recipes. The Crockpot is the perfect kitchen workhorse to release the heavy burden of holiday feasts.  Whether it’s a holiday ham or savory side, you can use the Crockpot to make all your favorite eats that capture the spirit of Christmas. Plus, it will help you avoid holiday burnout.  From stocking sweets to a Christmas feast, there’s a holiday Crockpot recipe on this list to satisfy all your needs.

1. Easy Crockpot Christmas Candy

Making Christmas candy from scratch can be stressful.  Luckily, this four-ingredient chocolate recipe makes it easy. All you’ll need is some almond bark, sweet chocolate, semi-sweet chocolate, peanuts, and a couple of hours in a slow cooker. A few red and green sprinkles on top are also a nice touch.

2. Slow Cooker Christmas Stuffing

Are you still using boxed stuffing because it’s easy? Time to retire that box and try slow cooker stuffing instead. This recipe is as simple as the boxed stuff and it tastes great. Plus, the ingredients are versatile so you can make it gluten-free and dairy-free for everyone to enjoy. Gluten-free or not, just be sure to stick with the onion, celery, sage, and thyme.

3. Paula Deen’s Crockpot Potato Soup

Any time I need some comforting Christmas food, I turn to this creamy soup.  This potato soup is super thick, which is how I like it. If you like yours thinner, you can add some more broth. I like to throw a pot on early in the morning. Then, when hunger strikes, everyone can help themselves throughout the day. It doesn’t get easier than that!

4. Slow Cooker Christmas Chicken in Milk With Orange, Cinnamon, and Savory

With this recipe, pulling together a fancy Christmas dinner doesn’t have to be a big deal.  You’ll take a whole chicken and sear it in butter until it gets a gorgeous crispy coating. Toss in some cinnamon and garlic for seasoning, then transfer it to the slow cooker.  From there, top the chicken off with milk and orange zest. The chicken will take about 4 hours to cook, so be sure to plan accordingly.

5. Slow Cooker Holiday Ham

Ham is the quintessential Christmas dish, but it can require a ton of work. Or I thought it did until I stumbled upon this genius recipe. This holiday ham is perfectly dialed in, so it turns out tender and juicy every time.  This is a blessing considering how much effort you can spend on a Christmas ham only to have it turn out dry. And I didn’t even mention the orange marmalade glaze! This tasty glaze seals in the deal.

6. Slow Cooker Holiday Green Beans

Of course, a holiday ham needs a side dish. And I can think of no better accompaniment than these green beans. While some green bean dishes can be bland and lackluster, this one is full of flavor.  Slow cook these beans until tender with salty bacon, earthy mushrooms, and bacon drippings. Now, that’s how you do it on Christmas!

7. Trisha Yearwood Crockpot Mac and Cheese

There are many reasons to celebrate the Christmas season. One of my favorites is all the yummy comfort food, including this mac and cheese. This cheesy dish is excellent for Christmas potlucks or even as a Christmas side.  But I’d be lying if I didn’t say I eat it for dinner throughout December. It’s just too scrumptious to resist!

8. Crockpot Mashed Potatoes

Mashed potatoes are another classic Christmas side dish that everyone loves. One of my favorite ways to make it is with this recipe.  The Crockpot gives the spuds plenty of time to soak up all the cheesy buttery goodness. This means they always turn out rich and fluffy. Speaking of rich, this recipe uses cream cheese, sour cream, parmesan, and butter. It may not be exactly skinny jean friendly, but tis’ the season!

9. Warm Crockpot Christmas Punch

This Christmas punch always makes the season a bit more cheery. It’s full of warming Christmas spice and fruity flavors that kids and adults can both enjoy. Apple juice, pineapple juice, and cranberry juice are the main base. But I think pear or pomegranate juice will also work.  This will take about 3 hours. So I recommend prepping in advance so you’ll be ready when guests arrive.

10. Slow Cooker Beef Burgundy

Looking for a special Christmas entree to serve your family? Then look no further than this savory recipe. This elegant dish is brimming with merriness! Sirloin steak and thick bacon are slowly cooked in a robust Burgundy wine and beef broth. There’s also a handful of chopped veggies and dried herbs to season it up.

11. Crockpot Hot Chocolate

No matter which family member of mine is hosting, you can bet there’s always some hot chocolate in the Crockpot.  I like to keep a bowl of marshmallows, cinnamon spice, and mini candy canes next to it. That way everyone can doctor up their own mug.  It’s hard to be a grinch with a warm, rich cup of this hot cocoa.

12. Crockpot Sweet Potatoes

Need to cook sweet potatoes, but there’s no room in the oven? Make them in the Crockpot instead.  The Crockpot turns sweet potatoes into fork-tender perfection. This will take about 3 to 6 hours, depending on whether you use the low or high setting.  Just be sure to pierce each spud with a fork so they fully cook in the center.

13. Crockpot Split Pea Soup

The holiday season is a busy time with all the hustle and bustle of shopping, gatherings, and events. That’s why I whip up a batch of split pea soup to have on hand.  Ham makes this soup a bit more hearty while the creamy peas are super comforting.  The best part is all you have to do is dump your ingredients in the Crockpot and let them cook. Then, you can give it an ice bath and pop it into the freezer.

14. Crockpot Meatballs With Grape Jelly Sauce

Appetizer or main course, these succulent meatballs are my Christmas jam! This recipe uses store-bought meatballs to keep it easy. It also uses chili sauce and grape jelly.  This may sound like an odd combo, but it tastes phenomenal. It’s a little sweet, a little spicy, and so simple.

15. Slow Cooker Beef Brisket

The slow cooker manages to create the most succulent, juicy beef brisket fitting for Christmas dinner. This perfectly tender brisket melds with caramelized onions and mushrooms for a rich meal.  For serving, you can pair this with some mashed potatoes and a side of green beans. It will also be good on a toasty bun.

16. Crispy Skin Slow Cooker Turkey

Turkey isn’t just for Thanksgiving, it’s for Christmas too!  This game bird is versatile, making it a terrific entree to serve with all your favorite Christmas sides. But when it comes to cooking, I recommend this recipe. Crispy and tender, this turkey is anything but dry.

17. Crockpot Chicken Pot Pie

I think a bowl of this pot pie will make a fantastic meal for Christmas Eve! The Crockpot cooks the pot pie filling while you bake the flaky, buttery biscuits.  The result is a creamy, cozy bowl that will satisfy hungry bellies. That way, nobody is waking up and sneaking Santa’s cookies.

18. Slow Cooker Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes

If you feel like giving mashed potatoes a break, try scalloped instead.  The crockpot does all the cooking for you, making this creamy and cheesy dish a cinch.  Unfortunately, the only thing it doesn’t do is all the peeling. So I say, put on some Christmas tunes and entice your helpers with some crockpot hot chocolate.

19. Crockpot Broccoli Casserole

This Christmas Crockpot casserole is a game-changer!  It frees up space in the oven for the main event. Plus, it gets everyone to eat their veggies. Speaking of veggies, you’ll dress up the broccoli with crunchy Ritz crackers and cheddar cheese.

20. Slow Cooker Chocolate Pudding Cake

Christmas tidings are best delivered in chocolate pudding cake form! Rich in chocolate, this heavenly dessert is similar to a chocolate lava cake. Except the gooey consistency is a bit closer to pudding.  This will take a couple of hours to make. But don’t worry, everyone will be saving a little room for dessert.

21. Crockpot Breakfast Casserole

It’s easy to neglect Christmas breakfast when there are so many presents to unwrap. Luckily, the Crockpot will be cooking this breakfast casserole. To make this, you’ll want to take a heaping of hash browns and layer them in the Crockpot with cheese, bacon, and veggies. Then, pour an egg mixture over it so everything binds together.

22. Homemade Slow Cooker Eggnog

Scrooge himself can’t resist this holiday nog! It’s creamy and sweet with a hint of spice. Oh, and it’s spiked with a splash of rum. While the slow cooker does most of the work, you’ll want to stir the eggnog from time to time, so keep an eye on it.

23. Crockpot Gingerbread Pudding Cake

If you’re spent baking Christmas cookies, let the Crockpot make dessert instead.  This is a fantastically festive goody that’s sweet with a nice balance of spice. This recipe is so luscious and gooey, nobody will be passing on dessert.

24. Slow Cooker Glazed Carrots

It’s amazing how the right spice blend can spruce up carrots to make an exceptional holiday dish.  You’ll need to use cinnamon, sugar, nutmeg, and parsley for this recipe. This creates a divine glaze that makes carrots an extraordinary side for a Christmas feast.

25. Crockpot Corn Casserole

Give your Christmas meal a southern spin with this delectable recipe.  It takes cornbread and turns it into a buttery, cheesy casserole that you can gobble up with a spoon.  Plus, it pairs well with all your other sides. Mashed potatoes, glazed carrots, green beans, you name it. Click on a star to rate it!
