In fact, they’re so good, you won’t need any other recipes. The last thing you want at your next holiday party is a sad little kid who can’t eat your yummy treats. Be it a gluten intolerance or dietary preference, we want everyone happy and stuffed, right? So, why not go the extra mile and make some gluten-free Christmas cookies? They’re great for gifting, cookie exchange parties, or for your family to devour by the fire.

1. Gluten-Free Chocolate Chip Cookies

Let’s start with the classic, flawless, and delicious chocolate chip cookie. These babies are welcome any time of year, but they’re especially comforting during the holidays.  And not only are they gluten-free, but they’re also made with yummy browned butter. It’s a simple addition but brings even more deliciousness to the mix.

These sugar cookies are similar to the soft frosted delights you see at grocery stores. Only they’re even better, and they’re gluten-free.  Cut them into any shape or size you like, and they’re perfect for a holiday party – and I don’t just mean Christmas. From Christmas trees and ghosts to bunnies and pots of gold, these will be a staple in your house year-round. And they’ll disappear before anyone even realizes they’re gluten-free.

3. Flourless Chocolate Cookies

Flourless chocolate cookies are naturally gluten-free for obvious reasons. They’re also fudgy, chewy, and ah-mazing.  You’ll only need five ingredients to make these decadent, cake-like cookies. The outside turns crispy and cracked as they bake, and they’re wonderfully chocolaty.

4. Gluten-Free Gingerbread Men Cookies

Thanks to these gluten-free gingerbread cookies, there’s no need to miss out on any holiday fun.  Spiced, soft, and delightfully chewy, you’ll use a blend of ginger, cinnamon, and brown sugar to get the right taste and texture. Gingerbread cookies are super fun to decorate and even more fun to eat. So get the kids involved and get ready to make a mess!

5. Buckwheat Chocolate Chip Cookies

Here’s another gluten-free chocolate chip cookie recipe that’s just heavenly. This one uses buckwheat flour, making the crumb tender with just a hint of nuttiness. Buckwheat flour is not only gluten-free but also has other health benefits and is high in fiber.  These cookies are a classic that everybody loves. And they’re almost healthy, so go ahead and have two!

6. Gluten-Free Peanut Butter Blossoms

Gluten-free peanut butter blossoms are the perfect combination of peanut butter and chocolate.  They’re easy to make and are sure-fire crowd pleasers. I mean, how can you go wrong with a soft peanut butter cookie topped with a chocolate kiss?  These cookies are so addictive, there probably won’t be any left for Santa.

7. Gluten-Free Snowball Cookies

These cute cookies look just like little snowballs, and they melt in your mouth. Don’t worry, though, they taste much better than actual snowballs.  They have a smooth, velvety texture from the powdered sugar. Plus, they’re nutty, buttery, and wonderfully tender.  These delicious cookies are perfect for any Christmas dessert table.

8. Almond Flour Sugar Cookies

These sugar cookies will satisfy any sweet tooth. They’re soft and tender on the inside and buttery and crispy on the outside.  Surprisingly, you’ll only need three ingredients for these holiday cookies: almond flour, butter, and sugar. So basically, they’re a kind of gluten-free shortbread rather than a sugar cookie. But no matter what you call them, they’re buttery, crumbly, and to die for – with or without frosting.

9. Grain-Free Snickerdoodles

Snickerdoodle cookies are fall faves. With the warm flavors of cinnamon and sugar, these grain-free cookies might become a baking tradition in your house. This recipe calls for a mix of almond flour and coconut flour, giving them such a nice texture that’s not too crumbly. Plus, you can make these in one bowl and in only 20 minutes!

10. Healthy Soft Pumpkin Cookies with Salted Maple Frosting

Who said cookies can’t be delicious and healthy? They’ve obviously never tried these sensational pumpkin cookies! Soft and flavorful, the salted maple frosting is a thing of beauty. It pairs so well with the pumpkin – if it makes it to the cookie, that is. I could eat that stuff with a spoon! This recipe is for the pumpkin spice lovers out there. Serve them with a hot coffee and a good book.

Grain-free, gluten-free, and vegan, these magic cookies certainly live up to their name. Though they’re healthier than the OG recipe, they’re just as decadent and delicious. Instead of Graham Crackers, you’ll use almond flour, shredded coconut, vanilla, and a few other ingredients for the crust. And instead of sweetened condensed milk, you’ll use a coconut milk swap.  Then pile on chocolate chips, coconut, and pecans. With just a few tweaks, these cookie bars will bring extra magic to your holiday celebrations.

12. M&M Cookies

M&M cookies are just like chocolate chip cookies, but with a colorful crispy twist.  These babies are soft, chewy, and studded with brightly colored M&M candies that add a whole new level of fun.  For the holidays, I like to use green and red. But to be honest, they look great in any color.

13. Almond Crescent Cookies

Light, crispy, and insanely buttery, this is the kind of recipe your grandma used to make. These are a terrific option if you want something lower in calories. You can also customize them slightly by using your choice of butter or butter substitute.  These cute little cookies are still sweet and velvety, and they’re perfect for any winter wonderland.

14. Gluten-Free Pizzelle

These cookies look fancy, but they’re pretty straightforward to make.  That said, you do need a Pizzelle iron. But I swear you’ll use it all the time once you get a taste of these bad boys! Serve them with toppings like hazelnut spread or powdered sugar. Or use them to make something similar to a cannoli. Yum!

15. Soft Gluten-Free Anisette Cookies

As the name suggests, these cookies are delicious little bites of anise-flavored dough. While it isn’t super common, it’s what these are all about, and they’re fantastic.  They make such a fun alternative to tired old cinnamon cookies! They’re soft and melt-in-your-mouth-good. And the glaze is such a treat. Don’t forget to decorate them with Christmas-colored sprinkles.

16. Gluten-Free Peanut Butter Cookies

These classic peanut butter cookies have tons of nutty flavor. And the gluten-free recipe tweak is so subtle, you won’t even notice.  Tender in the middle with nice crispy edges, you’ll press the dough with a fork to ensure they bake evenly. Plus, it gives them the signature look of a peanut butter cookie.

17. Gluten-Free Molasses Cookies

Molasses cookies just taste like Christmas. They’re soft, spiced, and super yummy! The flavor of ginger and the crispness from the sugar coating are so lovely.  This recipe also has a secret ingredient that makes them even better! Give the recipe a try and see what you think.

18. Gluten-Free Stained Glass Cookies

If you’re looking for a recipe to impress, this is it. Stained glass cookies are absolutely stunning – and crazy easy to make too! Just roll and cut out some gluten-free cookie dough. Then cut a hole in the middle of each piece. I like to chill the dough first, then pop hard candies in the holes before baking. The candy melts into the shape, leaving you with a stained-glass effect. To really go overboard, try adding a few different colors.

19. Sparkle Cookies

Who doesn’t love a little extra sparkle around the holidays? Especially when it comes to cookies! These pretty cookies are gluten-free and vegan, and they’re rolled in sparkly sugar. Don’t worry, you can find it anywhere you can buy baking supplies. Or look online!  Use any color you want for the sprinkles. But for Christmas, I stick to red, green, or white! That said, if I can find gold, there’s no stopping me!

20. Gluten-Free Thumbprint Cookies

Thumbprint cookies remind me of the holiday because of the vibrant colors. Plus, they’re so insanely easy to make that pretty much everyone whips up a batch or two. This version uses tons of lemon zest. That bright, citrusy flavor is a lovely contrast to the sweet, fruity jam.

21. Gluten-Free Spritz Cookies

We make these fun buttery cookies every year. They’re highly addictive, and since they’re so small, you can’t have just one. Made using just a few basic ingredients -gluten-free flour, eggs, butter, sugar, and vanilla or almond extract – they’re elegant and dreamy. Use a cookie press to get the fun shapes, and then bake until lightly golden! They take hardly any time at all and are oh-so-yummy.

22. Gluten-Free Spice Sugar Cookies

If you think sugar cookies are “missing something,” try these spiced cookies instead.  With cinnamon and nutmeg in the dough along with a delightfully spiced icing on top, they’re brimming with festive flavor.

23. Marshmallow Peanut Butter Bars

I’m not sure you can really consider these cookies. However, they’re gluten-free, perfect for Christmas, and super delicious. So they belong on the list.  Marshmallow peanut butter bars are fantastic no-bake treats that everyone will go nuts for. They’re bars of fluffy marshmallows suspended in chocolate and peanut butter. So they’re kind of like fudge!

24. Raspberry White Chocolate Cookies

Raspberry and white chocolate are a tasty combination. Tart raspberries perfectly contrast sweet and creamy chocolate in both taste and color. It’s a yummy duo and ideal for people who don’t enjoy cinnamon treats.

25. Gluten-Free Chocolate Orange Cookies

Chocolate and orange cookies are easy to make and beyond delicious. If you’ve ever had a Terry’s Chocolate Orange, you’ll want to give this recipe a whirl. They’re fudgy, rich, and have just the right amount of citrus flavor. These cookies are so indulgent, you’ll forget they’re dairy and gluten-free.   Click on a star to rate it!
