If you’re looking for a drink that’s perfect for Christmas, Halloween, your best friend’s wedding, or your 21st (or 52nd!) birthday party, you just can’t beat champagne cocktails.  Furthermore, if you like light drinks that are bubbly, fizzy, sweet, and fruity, you’ll probably be a big fan of the champagne cocktails on this list, as well.  With 23 of my absolute favorites from which to choose, you’ll certainly have a lot of options. Who knows? You might just find your new favorite on here, too.  Pro tip: You’ll notice that some of the recipes on this list call for prosecco instead of champagne. Great news!  The two drinks are totally interchangeable! So anywhere you see prosecco, feel free to substitute champagne instead.

20+ Champagne Cocktail Recipes for Bridal Showers, New Year’s, and More!

1. Classic Champagne Cocktail

If you’re looking for the sweet, bubbly, gorgeously golden champagne cocktail that fits in at any celebration, the classic champagne cocktail is the one you want.  It’s quick, easy, and requires only champagne, a sugar cube, Angostura bitters, and a slice of lemon. Best of all, it looks (and tastes) phenomenal and takes practically no time to make.

2. French 75 Cocktail

This sparkly, citrusy treat is just as light and bubbly as any cocktail on this list, but it’s deceptively strong. (Thank you, one and a half ounces of gin!) It has a gentle sweetness to it, but there’s a tart lemony flavor that makes it incredibly refreshing, as well. If you’re looking for a delightfully fizzy summer drink, give this one a try.

3. Empress 75

This stunning pink and purple cocktail looks like a colorful sunset over the sea, and I am absolutely in love with it.  If somehow its remarkable appearance isn’t enough to make you love it, maybe the strong, sweet, citrus taste will be.

4. Apple Cider Mimosa

Apple cider mimosas.  Let me say that one more time for those of you in the back.  Apple. Cider. Mimosas.  I don’t know who invented them, but that person deserves all the awards and medals. If you’re addicted to fall flavors like I am, this is the only drink you’ll need.

5. Orange Mimosa

I can’t forget the traditional mimosas, of course. Their bright orange color and tart and tangy orange juice flavor make them the perfect additions to any breakfast or brunch.

6. Orange Creamsicle Mimosa

The orange creamsicle mimosa is a lot like the regular orange mimosa. However, it’s creamier, sweeter, and tastes like those amazing orange push-up popsicles we loved when we were kids.

7. Mimosa Margarita

Mimosa margaritas aren’t quite at the OMG level of apple cider mimosas, but they’re still pretty fantastic. These hybrid drinks are for those of us who like to turn brunch into a little more of a party.  To make these bright yellowish-orange cocktails, you’ll need triple sec, tequila, lime juice, champagne, orange juice, and lime and orange slices.  They’re tart; they’re tangy, and they’re right on the border of being downright sour. In short, they’re pretty great.

8. Tiffany Mimosa

If you love the insanely, almost ultraviolet blue hue you get from blue curacao, this is the cocktail for you. (Plus, it’s tartly sweet and looks like a million bucks!) It has a lemonade and champagne base, and you’ll add a bit of blue curacao, honey, and sugar sprinkles for the rim. This is one drink that will wow the whole crowd.

9. Strawberry Champagne

This drink is for anyone who likes a little chunkiness in their cocktails. The pureed strawberries certainly add that.  Plus, between them and the champagne, you’ll have one seriously sweet and fruity drink. If it’s a bit too sweet to suit your tastes, add extra lemon juice to help tone that down some.

10. Peach Bellini

There’s nothing quite like the frothy, tongue-tingling top of a peach bellini. It’s a thick, fruity cocktail with plenty of peach and raspberry flavor.  The recipe calls for prosecco, but as I’ve already mentioned, you can easily substitute your favorite bottle of champagne instead.

11. Strawberry Lemonade Bellini

If you’re looking for a cocktail that’ll liven up your table, you can’t beat the strawberry lemonade bellini. It’s gorgeous and looks like a warm sunset on the beach.  It’s also fruity, tasty, and full of chunky, slushy yumminess. All you’ll need to make it are frozen strawberries, lemonade, champagne, and fresh strawberries for garnishes.  It shouldn’t take you more than 5 minutes to pull it together, and that’s a good thing because you’ll want to make a couple more after you quickly finish this one.

12. Raspberry Mimosa

I’m honestly not sure what you’ll love most about this drink – the fact that it takes only 5 minutes and four ingredients to make or its amazing tart, raspberry flavor. Whatever it is, it’ll definitely have you coming back for more.

13. Watermelon Mimosa

These bubbly mimosas are just as fantastic as the raspberry ones above, but they’re sweeter and even easier to make, requiring only two ingredients: watermelon and champagne. The watermelon flavor is pretty mild, so if the alcohol taste comes through too strongly for your preferences, add some simple syrup to help mask it.

14. Strawberry Champagne Margaritas

Want to know the only thing better than a strawberry margarita? How about a strawberry champagne margarita stuffed with fresh mint and chunky pieces of chilled fruit at the bottom? This drink is sweet, tangy, salty, and perfect. It hits just about every single taste bud on your tongue and leaves you with a delightful buzz after just one drink.

15. Black Velvet

♫♫ A new religion that’ll bring you to your knees… Black Velvet, if you please! ♫♫ I know Alannah Myles wasn’t singing about this drink in her song, but I firmly believe that’s because she hadn’t tasted it yet. If she had, it would have been all about this two-ingredient cocktail. It’s hard to believe Guinness beer and champagne could make such a rich, tasty combination, but they do. Give it a try, and you’ll see what I mean.

16. Blackberry Champagne Mule

First and foremost, you’ll love this drink because it’s strikingly beautiful. However, you’ll also love its taste, especially if you prefer cocktails with spicier, less sweet flavors.  The champagne lends some sweetness to the mule, but the blackberries’ tartness and the lime’s tanginess balance that out nicely.  Finally, the mint and ginger beer add a whole other depth of fresh, earthy flavor, making this an entirely unique but flavorful drink.

17. Caramel Apple Mimosa

Caramel apple mimosas may look like regular orange mimosas, but their taste is 100% different. These are another excellent option for any fall get-together. The caramel sauce, brown sugar, and cinnamon on the rim add a rich, sweet, spiced tingle to every sip, and the caramel apple flavor of the drink is exceptionally good.  If fall flavors are your favorite, there’s nothing about this drink that you won’t love.

18. Poinsettia Cocktail

This vibrantly red cocktail is the Christmas cocktail you didn’t know you needed. You can whip it up in just 3 minutes with only three ingredients: orange liqueur, cranberry juice, and champagne. Garnish it with fresh cranberries and a sprig of rosemary to make it look more festive, and sit back and let the compliments roll in.

19. Aperol Spritz

If you’ve ever visited Italy, you’ve probably seen this drink a lot. It’s been trending over there for the last few years, and for good reason! Its brilliant, bright orange color is lovely.  And its light, dry flavor is one that almost no one can turn down. If you’re looking for something cool and refreshing, you’ll need to try the Aperol spritz.

20. Tequila Sunrise Mimosa

This five-ingredient, 5-minute mimosa features a beautiful, multi-color sunrise appearance and equal parts tequila and champagne.  Surprisingly, once you add the orange juice, grenadine syrup, and orange slices for a garnish, that combination is really good.  It’s tangy with a light sweetness, and the tequila comes through just enough to let you know it’s in there.  Best of all, it’s a relatively strong drink, so if you’re looking to get tipsy quick, this cocktail can get you there.

21. Pineapple Dole Whip Mimosa

The one thing that most champagne cocktails are not is creamy, but this delightful pineapple dole whip mimosa is the exception that proves the rule.  It’s thick, creamy, and full of pineapple yumminess that’ll have you dreaming of the beach and the waves crashing over your toes.

22. Strawberry Mimosa

Despite its fleshy pink appearance, the strawberry mimosa tastes remarkably similar to the traditional orange mimosa.  The only difference is a bright burst of berry deliciousness underneath all the tangy orange flavor. The drink requires only three ingredients and takes 5 minutes or less to make.  These are perfect for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or lazy summer days beside the pool.

23. Cranberry Mimosa

There’s just something about cocktails with deep, rich red colors that I love. They’re ideal for the winter holidays, for one thing, but that’s not the only thing that makes them great.  They’re just so stunningly gorgeous. And the vibrant red color looks fantastic against the shimmering diamond-like sparkling sugar you’ll use to dust their rims.  Luckily, this drink is more than just something pretty to look at. It’s also delicious and incredibly easy to make. All you’ll need is cranberry juice and champagne.  It shouldn’t take you more than 2 minutes to prepare.  Click on a star to rate it!
