Because after just one sip of this grain alcohol, you’ll definitely feel the warmth. Anyone who likes a stiff drink has undoubtedly tried Everclear at some point. After all, it doesn’t get much more potent than this bitter booze. Of course, Everclear has a variety of strengths, but it’s the 190 proof that most people know. And it’s what you’ll find in most of these tasty Everclear drink recipes. So, if you like something strong after a long day, you’ll want to bookmark these drinks for later.
1. Apple Pie Moonshine
Apple pie moonshine may be the easiest, smoothest way to drink Everclear. In fact, it’s the only Everclear drink I’ve ever had where I almost didn’t taste the alcohol. Almost. It’s easy to make and doesn’t require an actual moonshine still. Instead, you’ll need a large pot and about an hour to let the mixture simmer. It’s a cinnamony, apple-heavy drink that’s perfect for fall.
2. Lemonade Moonshine
You’ll never want plain lemonade again after trying this crisp, refreshing drink. It’s real lemonade with lemon juice, water, and sugar. Of course, the Everclear adds a potent kick. This boozy summer treat is perfect for lounging by the pool. Its sweetly tart flavor will definitely help you beat the heat. Just remember to use the 151-proof Everclear in it. The 190 is too strong.
3. Strawberry Lemonade Party Punch
This yummy party punch is delightfully tart and tangy. It’s a fizzier, fruitier alternative to boozy strawberry lemonade. And it’s perfect for parties. You’ll need just four ingredients and about five minutes to pull it together, but the taste is exquisite. And, believe it or not, you’ll only use one single cup of Everclear, which is just enough to loosen up your guests without making them fall on the floor.
4. Crock-Pot Pineapple Moonshine Recipe
You’ll need three simple ingredients and a Crock-Pot for this moonshine recipe. To make it, combine pineapple juice, sugar, and Everclear. It’s strong, sweet, and super tropical. Once it’s ready, you can enjoy it by itself or mix it with cocktails. Just remember that it’s a potent drink already. With that in mind, you’ll want to go easy if you add more liquor to the cocktails.
5. Homemade Apple Pie Vodka
This apple pie vodka isn’t as smooth as the moonshine recipe above, but it is delicious and still relatively easy going down. It has tons of tart green apple flavor and just a hint of cinnamon. You’ll still taste the alcohol, but it isn’t as abrasive as it could be.
6. Cherry Vanilla Ice Cream Punch
This creamy, sweet, spiked punch is a fast favorite. It’s thick and flavorful, featuring the tartness of cherries and the sweetness of vanilla. It’s lovely to look at too, and wonderfully festive. Plus, it’s strong enough that everyone who tries it will be compelled to hit the dance floor.
7. Homemade Peach Tea Vodka
If you like your drinks with a substantial alcohol flavor, you’ll enjoy this one. It’s peachy, citrusy, and tastes like pure Southern hospitality. Of course, the Everclear is strong and hard to miss. Plus, you’ll also get a nice boost of caffeine from the tea. It’s not a bad combination, as long as you don’t mind ethanol.
8. Instant Pot Root Beer Moonshine
You’ve got to enjoy root beer to appreciate this six-ingredient drink. As long as you do, though, you’ll love it. The robust, black licorice flavor of root beer extract helps mask the Everclear, making it pretty unique. It’s a rich, dark moonshine that’ll transport you back in time. Every time I taste it, I feel like I’m living in the 1920s.
9. Pumpkin Pie Punch
This gorgeous orange drink is thick, creamy, and ideal for fall. It takes all the best Autumn ingredients and mixes them with Everclear to make something spiced and warming. It’s pumpkiny, apple-y, and boozy to the max. Try it the next time you throw a Halloween party, and your guests will all agree: it falls firmly in the ‘Treat’ column of Trick-or-Treat.
10. Mason Jar Pomegranate Moonshine
This pomegranate moonshine recipe is unlike any other moonshine you’ll ever try. In fact, it’s so unique and interesting that it’s kind of hard to describe. It’s a straightforward recipe to follow, though. First, you need jars and cheesecloth for straining and storing. Then, you’ll need pomegranate arils, POM juice, and Everclear. Simple enough, right? But somehow, the flavor is unlike anything else I’ve ever had. And that makes it not just difficult but nearly impossible to describe. It’s like spiked pomegranate juice, but with another depth of flavor. It’s one drink you’ll have to try for yourself. Let me know how you like it if you do.
11. Hard Mocha Freeze
This frosty, chocolate and coffee-flavored drink is pure refreshment in a glass. It’s sweet, boozy, and goes down a little too easily. Remember that 30 seconds where Starbucks dabbled in selling liquor? This drink is what should have come out of that endeavor. If you like alcohol and coffee, you’ll love it.
12. Fall Sangria
One look at this ingredient list, and you may be thinking, “Where’s the Everclear?!” You’re right; it isn’t on the list. However, you can use it in place of the Grenache, but leave everything else just as it is. It’ll still have the wonderfully warm, rich, and fruity flavors of sangria. The only thing that’s different is the liquor. Swapping it doesn’t even change the flavor that much, though the alcohol taste is more pungent. Using Everclear is going to give it a much stronger kick.
13. Chai Liqueur
This drink also requires a substitution. Instead of vodka or rum, use Everclear. It gives you a sweet, spiced liqueur similar to Kahlua, though not as dark. And obviously, it’s tea-based rather than coffee-based. You can enjoy this straight or iced if you like. However, I prefer to use it as a base for other cocktails.
14. Fizzy Dog
This bubbly, bittersweet drink is probably one of the most popular Everclear cocktails around. It uses just four ingredients and takes only moments to make. It’s zesty and fizzy and will tickle your nose as well as your tastebuds. And like most Everclear drinks, it’s intense. It’s a sipper, not a gulper.
15. Homemade Limoncello
Bright and tangy, limoncello has soared in popularity in the last few years. Everyone wants to try this vibrant summer drink, and with this recipe, you can make your own. You’ll need water, lemons, sugar, and Everclear. Sound familiar? Yep, those are the same ingredients for the lemonade moonshine above. So what’s the difference between them? Time. The lemons and Everclear mixture must sit for at least four days to infuse properly. That makes it zingier and a touch more bitter than spiked lemonade. It’s still yummy, though, especially in cocktails.
16. Chocolate Moonshine
Chocolate moonshine is everything you hope it is: sweet, creamy, chocolatey, and oh so boozy. As long as you don’t mind the taste of alcohol, you’ll love this sweet treat. Use vodka if you want a smoother drink, but I recommend Everclear. It’s much more robust, and you’ll catch a buzz faster. That said, I’ve made this with whipped cream vodka, and it was a little too tasty!
17. Chocolate Coffee Moonshine
This recipe uses only three ingredients. And those three ingredients are three of my favorite things. Chocolate. Coffee. Booze. Is there a better combination anywhere out there? Okay, there probably is. But it’s hard to beat when you’re in the mood for something sweet, caffeinated, and boozy. There’s one thing to keep in mind about this drink; it’s extreme. Imagine the most potent espresso you’ve ever had – now add Everclear. Oh yeah. This one will burn a little going down, even with the chocolate. Click on a star to rate it!
