Pork chops are delicious, but they have a tendency to be quite dry. That’s why you need to have a tasty sauce!  I’ve compiled 10 of my favorite sauces for pork chops. Some are sweeter, some are more tangy, some are cream-based, and some are not. Regardless, they’re all delicious! Let’s get saucy!

1. Dijon Sauce

This creamy Dijon sauce will make you feel like you’re eating at a fancy restaurant. But you can enjoy your meal right at home! Like good French cooking, this sauce is indulgent. It’s buttery, rich, and intensely flavored. With ingredients like heavy cream, white wine, and Dijon mustard, how could it not be? It also includes chicken stock, pork drippings, butter, and parsley, so you know it’s good.

2. Creamy Mushroom Sauce

If you’re looking for a hearty dinner everyone will love, this is it! I simply can’t get enough of the robust and earthy flavors in this sauce. It’s rich, creamy, and utterly delicious.  When you have pork chops and this sauce, you won’t go hungry. This dish is so filling. It sticks to your ribs and tickles your tastebuds.  This would be amazing with mashed potatoes or rice.

3. Creamy Parmesan Garlic Sauce

Alfredo sauce, move aside, you no longer have the monopoly on garlic and parmesan. This luxurious sauce is game-changing. It’s so easy to make and it tastes good on everything. But it’s especially great on pork chops. That’s because you make it in the same pan as the pork. That means your sauce will have all kinds of yummy pork flavor.  Of course, the same can be said for chicken or steak dishes as well. Regardless of the meat, you can’t beat cream, butter, garlic, parmesan, and herbs.  It’s luscious.

4. Fresh Basil Pesto

Pesto is one of my favorite sauces. It’s bright and loaded with tantalizing flavors. You can use pesto on practically anything.  Personally, I love it on pizza, chicken, and pork chops. Yep. Pesto and pork chops might be an unexpected combo, but it’s beautiful.  Pork chops can be pretty rich, and pesto is refreshingly light. Together, they’re perfectly balanced.  And sure, you can buy pesto at the store. But there’s nothing quite like fresh pesto. Don’t worry, it’s easy to make!

5. Blackberry-Honey Mustard Sauce

If you like honey mustard sauce, then you’ll love this! This blackberry-honey mustard sauce is like honey mustard on steroids. And the flavor is outrageous.  First thing’s first, this sauce is sweet. It has honey, sugar, and blackberries cooked down like a simple syrup. But it’s not too sweet.  All those ingredients are well-balanced by tangy Dijon and dried mustard. Lemon juice and salt help balance the sweetness even more.  This stuff is so darn good that I could bathe in it.

6. Alabama White Sauce

When it comes to barbecue, the south has the best recipes. And Alabama white sauce is one of the greats! White sauce is a mayonnaise-based barbecue sauce. It’s sweet, smoky, and tangy, with just a hint of heat. It tastes great with any lighter meat, like pork or poultry.  The best part is that it is so easy to make! It only requires eleven ingredients that you probably have in your pantry right now. So, you really have no excuse not to try it.  It’s finger-licking good!

7. Creamy Mustard Sauce

This mustard sauce is as dreamy as it is creamy. If you liked the first sauce on this list, I suspect you’ll like this one. This sauce is like a cousin to the first one. The flavors are related, but they have their own personalities. This sauce is made with mustard, cream, salt, pepper, and chicken stock. Worcestershire sauce is the star of the show here. It adds so much umami flavor, and it’s seriously tasty.

8. Carolina Mustard BBQ Sauce

Clearly, mustard sauces pair well with pork chops. And I have another amazing one for you. This one also happens to look really pretty!  While aesthetics are not the most important thing, we feast with our eyes first.  The taste is what really matters here, though. It’s divine. If tangy, slightly sweet, rich, and spicy sound like your kind of flavors, you’re in luck. You might even want to lick the plate clean.

9. Honey BBQ Sauce

If you’re bored with basic barbecue sauce, you need to try this one! This sauce features barbecue as a base, plus extras. It’s super yummy and easy to make.  This sauce features barbecue, honey, garlic, soy sauce, mesquite rub, and brown sugar. It’s sweet and smoky with a fantastic garlic finish.  Did I mention that this sauce is amazing on pork chops?  It’d be good on chicken, too! Serve it with roasted veggies and mashed potatoes.  Now, you can use a pre-made barbecue sauce for the base, but homemade is better. It just so happens that this recipe includes a separate recipe for homemade barbecue sauce.  #winnerwinnerporkchopdinner

10. Cherry Pan Sauce

If you want to impress your crew with a fancy meal, make this for dinner! Start with a juicy chop and a delicious side, then add your sauce.  And this cherry pan sauce is the one you want. It features sweet cherries, fruity port wine, thyme, salt, and butter. It’s sweet, rich, and delectable.  Doesn’t that sound amazing? The best part is that it’s super easy to make. Simply add it to the pork chop pan and let it cook down.  But everyone will think you’ve spent hours over the stove. I won’t tell anyone if you don’t.  P.S. I have a feeling this sauce would be delicious on ice cream.  Click on a star to rate it!
